Novo Nordisk is hiring an experienced software engineer for its Data and AI Engineering organisation in Måløv, building software that scientists in R&D rely on.
The role
- Develop and deploy backend software for scientists, including automation for data products and MLOps for predictive models.
- Turn scientific needs into maintainable software together with engineers and subject matter experts.
- Implement algorithms from the scientific literature and simplify a complex technology stack.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing and architecture discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, PhD or similar in computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics or IT specialised in AI/ML, data and analytics.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience in teams, not only academic work.
- Significant professional experience with Python and basic familiarity with NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch and PySpark; CI/CD, containerisation and testing.
- Strong communication with technical and scientific colleagues. AWS, infrastructure as code, distributed systems, biology or chemistry are advantages.
- The ad is in English and states no Danish requirement.

Salary and deadline
