How to join
Connect membership is just 50 kr per year. The higher tiers are for members who take on volunteer work for the Association, and come with the working tools the Association provides for it.

A network of Vietnamese experts working in your field in Denmark. Ask someone who has already been through it directly, instead of reading a forum post from 2017.
A series of online and in-person sessions on academia, research and career, presented by members themselves.
CV and application review, interview preparation, understanding how hiring here works differently from back home.
Tet, get-togethers, cultural activities and gatherings with no agenda at all.
The guides on health, education, transport and the Danish language are open to everyone, including anyone who has never paid a single krone in dues. Members get the people behind it as well.

Membership tiers
Membership tiers
The fee for each tier is how a member supports the association, with money and with effort alike. From Silver upwards a member takes on a volunteer task and is given the tools that task needs.
- Take part in events (e.g. webinars)
- Get connected with, advised by and collaborate with experts and scholars in the Association
- Take part in elections, run for a position and be considered for recognition
- An @avide.dk email address, assigned by the Association for Association work
- Microsoft 365 Online, assigned by the Association for the volunteer work
- A private discussion space for members (MS Teams)
- Advice on scholarship and job applications

Both roles below go through a selection and interview process.

Membership application
The membership application is on a separate page, through the Association's account system. Choose your tier and confirm your e-mail; once the board approves your application, the fee is paid via MobilePay through a link sent to your e-mail.
