SEEL (Swedish Electric Transport Laboratory, founded by Chalmers and RISE) is looking for a senior researcher to take a leading position in its growing activities in power electronics and charging.
The role
- Develop and verify converters and inverters: control and system design, modelling and simulation, laboratory development and vehicle-level validation.
- Develop test strategies and methods for power electronics and charging.
- Disseminate findings in journals and conferences; collaborate closely with industrial and academic partners.
- Report to the Research Director at SEEL; based in Säve, Gothenburg, with support for the Nykvarn facility and monthly travel within Sweden.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Strong background in power electronics and converter control; hands-on laboratory experience.
- Experience developing control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink and with PLECS or similar simulation environments.
- Excellent spoken and written English; Swedish is only meritorious. Security clearance is part of the recruitment process.
