The personal data you provide to Avide in connection with creating a profile and your membership is collected and processed by the association.

2. What personal data do we collect

We primarily collect and process the following personal data:

• Name and email address — when creating a profile on the website
• Address and phone number — upon registration and membership fee payment
• Name, phone number, and email address — sent as a message when paying via MobilePay or bank transfer for onboarding and contact from the association
• Payment information — transaction ID when using MobilePay (no. 77688), payment card, or bank transfer. We do not store card information.

We do not collect special categories of personal data (health information, political beliefs, etc.).

3. Purpose

Your personal data is used to:

• send you information about Avide’s activities and events
• manage your membership fee payment and issue receipts
• create and maintain membership lists
• contact you in connection with onboarding for your new membership
• fulfill the association’s statutory accounting obligations

4. Disclosure of personal data

Avide only discloses your personal data when required by law or the administration of your membership — including to payment providers (MobilePay / Vipps MobilePay, card payment processor) for processing your payment, and to SKAT (the Danish Tax Agency), if relevant (e.g., mileage reimbursement).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Consent

By creating a profile and registering with Avide, you consent to Avide processing and disclosing your personal data for the purposes described above.

You also consent to Avide:

1. May process and disclose your personal data such as name and place of employment, etc., when participating in Avide’s networks and/or events.
2. May take, store, and use photos and video clips from events held by or in collaboration with Avide for use on, among other things, the website and social media.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is stored for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and in accordance with applicable law. Avide deletes your data upon withdrawal of membership and when it is no longer necessary.

7. Security

Avide has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful deletion, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

Should Avide experience a security breach, affected members will be informed as soon as possible and no later than within 72 hours, cf. Articles 33–34 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
