Dear Compatriots,
Although Typhoon Yagi has passed, its severe consequences remain, with hundreds of thousands of homes destroyed, crops and essential infrastructure devastated, profoundly affecting the lives of millions of Vietnamese people.
Following the success of the recent “Call for Donations and Art Auction by Professor Đặng Dương Bằng” program at Aalborg City Library, we cordially invite our compatriots to continue attending and supporting the “Culinary Fundraiser for Typhoon Yagi Victims” program in Copenhagen.

This culinary event is organized with the cooperative support of The Vietnamese Restaurant. With many years of experience and professional service, The Vietnamese Restaurant promises to offer guests wonderful culinary experiences featuring distinctive Vietnamese dishes combined with unique creativity that reflects its own character. The buffet will be served dish by dish, allowing guests to fully savor the flavors of each item. After the event, all proceeds will be sent to VOV to implement projects for recovery from Typhoon Yagi, and a full public report will be provided.
In addition to enjoying unique Vietnamese dishes, the program will feature a video presentation on the typhoon’s damage, a performance by guitarist Nguyễn Duy Khiêm, and notably, an auction of exceptional artworks by the renowned Professor and Artist Đặng Dương Bằng, along with a raffle offering many valuable prizes.
This program is organized by the Association of Vietnamese Professionals and Intellectuals in Denmark (AVIDE) as part of a series of fundraising events to aid in the recovery from Typhoon Yagi, under license number 24-700-08343 issued by Indsamlingsnævnet. The program is carried out in coordination with Voice of Vietnam (VOV). VOV is a reputable agency with reporters who conduct on-the-ground investigations, grasp the real situation, and have extensive experience in fundraising and supporting disaster relief efforts for typhoons and floods over many years. All donated funds will be used to support the reconstruction for residents in typhoon and flood-affected areas.
