A Vietnamese saying goes: the one who went first reaches back for the one who follows. In Denmark and the Nordics everyone in the association was new once: needed someone to look at an application, point out a path, or take on a task they did not know whom to ask about. This profile is how you tell the association where you can help, so that when someone needs exactly that, it knows whom to invite.
What you get
- Invitations to work that fits your field, by e-mail, with "not this time" always one click away.
- Paid work is shared in the spirit of mutual support: most goes to the person doing it, the rest funds community activities, and you see the figure before you accept.
- Walking alongside other members: as a mentor, with a single consultation, or a volunteer task, as your time allows.
What the association asks of you
- About 10 minutes for the first save: roles, fields, years of experience, LinkedIn and a CV.
- Evidence of work: a mentor needs LinkedIn or a portfolio; consultants and providers need a portfolio.
- A short 15 to 20 minute call with one of the association's coordinators, booked through a personal link.
How it works
You submit, a coordinator reviews within 5 working days, you have a short call, and the profile becomes active. From then on the association invites you when fitting work comes up; early on the first invitation can take a few weeks.
Your CV and portfolio are read only by coordinators the board has authorised, never published; files of declined or withdrawn profiles are deleted after 90 days.
