Tampere University awards a limited number of tuition fee scholarships to its best-performing applicants to English-taught master’s programmes starting in autumn 2027. Places are few: in the 2026 admission, nine scholarships were awarded across all bachelor’s and master’s programmes.
The scholarship
- Covers 50% of the tuition fee for the programme duration. The master’s tuition fee for students admitted in 2027 is EUR 12,000 per year.
- Scholarships are not awarded in every programme. The decision is sent together with the admission result.
- Fee-paying students who do not receive a scholarship get a EUR 2,000 early bird reduction on the first year if they accept the place and pay within 21 days.
Requirements
- Citizenship of a country outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland, studying in a programme taught in English (the fee-paying group).
- You apply for the scholarship inside the admission application at Studyinfo.fi during the application period; there is no separate form. The committee uses all application information, plus the scholarship letter where requested.
- The EUR 100 application fee is paid following the Studyinfo.fi email, and attachments must be uploaded by 14 January 2027, 23:59 (UTC+2).
