Nordea is hiring an entry-level AI scientist (graduate or junior data scientist) for its Forward Deployed AI team, embedded in the bank’s business areas. It is a regular role and not part of Nordea’s Graduate Program.
The role
- Learn to design, develop and scale AI applications from concept to production under mentorship.
- Support engineers and product teams in turning business needs into practical AI solutions.
- Explore emerging AI tools and frameworks and help build proofs of concept.
- Build foundations in advanced machine learning models and algorithms.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in computer science, engineering physics, data science, statistics, mathematics or equivalent, completed or graduating by summer 2027.
- About three years of professional experience or less; academic, internship or personal projects involving AI/ML.
- Basic Python and willingness to learn scalable coding practices; basic knowledge of, or willingness to learn, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- The ad is in English and states no Swedish requirement. For candidates in Finland, a security clearance is performed for the selected person.
