Aalborg University (AAU, Denmark) reserves a small number of scholarships for students from outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland admitted to a master’s programme for the September 2027 intake. All fee-paying applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship as part of their admission application; there is no separate scholarship application.
The scholarship
- Full tuition fee waiver for all four semesters (2 years) of the master’s programme
- A monthly stipend of around DKK 11,225 (2026 rate, subject to change) for the four semesters
- Very limited number, around 15 awards per year across the whole university
Requirements
- Citizen of a country outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland, liable for tuition fees
- Has applied for admission to an AAU master’s programme for the September 2027 intake
- The page does not detail the scoring criteria; AAU notes applicants should not count on receiving a scholarship given the very limited number
