Spreading the Spirit of Learning – Empowering Resilience in Overcoming Difficulties
On May 12, 2026, Mr. Le Quy Vang, President of the Association of Vietnamese Professionals and Intellectuals in Denmark (AVIDE), representing the executive board of the AVIDE association, signed and issued the Decision to award 10 AVIDE 2026 scholarships to students of Nong Cong 3 High School, Thanh Hoa province.
Each scholarship is worth 500,000 VND, awarded to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who consistently strive to excel and achieve good academic results. There is a familiar saying: “Good harvest in Nong Cong, prosperity everywhere.” But behind that saying lies the immense hardship of the rural people who are frequently affected by natural disasters, storms, floods, and crop failures. Especially in the former three districts of Nong Cong – where many families still face numerous hardships after historical natural disasters like Yagi or Bualoi – the children’s journey to school has never been easy. Yet, amidst these difficulties, they choose not to give up. They continue to study diligently. They still nurture dreams of a better future for themselves, their families, and their homeland.
The AVIDE association believes that: The greatest value of the scholarship lies not in the financial support, but in the recognition of the students’ self-reliance, self-improvement, and determination to overcome adversity. According to the association’s decision, Mr. Nguyen Binh Hoang will represent AVIDE to coordinate with the Board of Directors of Nong Cong 3 High School to promptly, fully, and appropriately award the scholarships to the students, in line with the program’s objectives.
All scholarship funds are drawn from the AVIDE association’s training activities, project development, and fee-based fundraising programs. In the coming time, AVIDE hopes to continue connecting with more resources to accompany even more disadvantaged students – the young sprouts who are diligently studying every day to build a better homeland and country.
A small support today can become a great motivation for an entire future ahead.
